Bondi Sands Ultra Dark Review!
So its been a while in the making for this review... I wanted to make sure that I wasn't just seeing things or my skin just didn't decide to have a weird week. So finally I am happy with how I am going to portray this product! So here are my pros/cons for the Bondi Sands Ultra Dark Tan
PROS:
Firstly the colour. When is says ultra dark it means ultra dark! I still use the same amount when I tan I just don't have to do that second layer half an hour later like I do with the dark one. Which means I can tan, dry and go to sleep wake up dark!
The application is the same.. Goes on smoothly with almost instant colour pay off so you can see where you have applied it! The new and improved mitt is good so far! I have only used it once (I was a little annoyed at my Priceline, I got a free mitt when I purchased the bottle and it claimed it was the NEW & IMPROVED. I opened the mitt and it was the exact same and had the exact same issues as the last few I purchased) The new mitt is almost a foam like surface, so none of those pesky little black fibres wipe off onto your skin!!
How the tan lasts I am still iffy on... this is where my con comes into it..
CONS:
First time I used this tan was for my Birthday. The tan last amazing! I didn't seem to have that mid week issue where I was 6 different skin tones. However, it was a bitch to get off.. I don't normally have to exfoliate so hard because by the time I am reapplying my whole tan is almost gone. The next few times I used the tan within a few days of using it, I was patchy, my skin looked so dry and flaky. It sank into my pores around my chest making them quite pronounced. I am still not sure if these are just reactions cause I haven't fully removed the tan, if it is my skin just being fussy, or if it is the product itself! I've never had a reaction like that to any Bondi Sands product before. If anyone else out there has had similar results I would love to hear about them and any ideas you have to prevent it.
I am still giving this tan a 7/10 purely on the colour pay off and the longevity of it. If I can manage to work out the little cons I have with it it certainly will be a 10/10
