Melbourne Cup Fashion

Cup Day has been and gone for another year. As race goers wake up with sore heads and empty wallets (or the lucky few who won) . At the end of the day the shoes have come off, hats are all over the place and this year, there would be a few streaky tans after the rainy patches. But before all of this there were some absolute winners in the fashion senses! Jewel Crowns seemed to be a continuing trend this season. A simple but elegant way to wear head attire, not to mention a lot easier to manage during the day! Bright colours and patterns again proved the cup day is the day to really go all out and try something you wouldn't normally dare to! Nadia Bartel looked stunning again in a light almost turquoise colour Alex Perry dress with wings for sleeves, a back cut out that I died for and of course a some Louboutin's. Jennifer Hawkins stunned in a red Misha Collection Pant suit with a hat that would keep rain, hail and sun off her! Jessie Habermann looks classy and sleek in her pastel patterned Cristahlea dress. Kate Waterhouse wore a Gucci dress almost 1920s like which I personally am still unsure about? (Not sure if it is just the colours that are bugging me) Bec Hewitt wore a red Cristahlea dress as well with a jacket in the matching material. All in all there weren't many people I could fault this year! So I have gathered a bunch of photos of my favourite looks from this years cup!

It's not as in depth as I would of liked cause well technology failed me this time and deleted my original post wahhhhhh!!!

Look forward to Oaks Day!! - S
