Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Palette
Oh my god! So my 21st birthday was a few weeks ago and boy was I spoilt!! Without a doubt one of the best birthdays ever! I was lucky enough to get my hands on some of my favourite make up products! Which I'll review as time goes on! Today I am starting with the every dreamy Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Palette.. My eyes when I opened this one would of been priceless!
On first glance it is as beautiful as you would imagine. With one touch of the palette the colours are smooth rich and creamy! Make sure the first time you use it you don't go in heavy handed or well, you'll end up with a very intense line that is hard to blend out (trust me.. I was not expecting the pigment I got!) The fact there are three darker shades means you can really add depth and shadow to your contour. When I use it I go in with the lighter shade first and add the darker ones to add the definition and depth I want. I go over the whole lot with the Hola Bronzer just to get all the shades blended together
Using the lighter shade I use the coral colour to correct the darker shades under my eyes (We all have them) then go over it with the banana colour, and finish off blending it out with the concealer shade. Now you don't have to do this I just think it makes the transition between contour and highlight more seamless and well natural (not that anything about contouring is natural)
My favourite part about this palette. THE TRAYS ARE REPLACEABLE!!!! So if I run out of one colour I am not having to buy a whole new palette..I mean the amount of times my light shade has run out and I am left with a million contour shades is beyond me.
